Guideline Policy

Consultations

1. Loc Installations:

- All loc installation services require a consultation, which can be conducted either in person or via Zoom.

2. Coloring Services:

- All coloring services require a consultation, which can be conducted either in person or via Zoom.

3. Same-Day Consultations and Appointments:

- You are allowed to book consultations on the same day as your hair appointment is for the following services:

- Starter Locs

- Creative Color

- All Loc Repair Services

4. Loc Extensions:

- All loc extension services require a consultation.

Coloring Services

1. Booking Requirements:

- You must fill out a form if you book any coloring services.

- Coloring services require a $25 deposit.

2. Appointment Preparation:

- Do not come to your coloring appointment with freshly washed hair. If you do, I will not service you.

3. Hair Health and Safety:

- As a licensed cosmetologist, my duty is to ensure you leave with healthier hair than you came with. If your hair cannot sustain a specific coloring service (e.g., bleach), I will not perform that service. Instead, I will suggest an alternative.

Miscellaneous Hairstyles

1. Service Scope:

- I am a loctician, not a professional braider. However, I do provide braids and twists.

- Because I am a certified loctician, the process may take longer than with most professional braiders. Despite this, I guarantee satisfaction with the end result and charge lower rates than most braiders.

2. Hair Color and Provision:

- I provide braided hairstyles and twists only with natural hair colors (1B/2). If you have colored hair, you must provide the hair yourself.

3. Style Limitations:

- I only provide medium and large braids or twists. I do not provide small braids or twists.

Scheduling Inconveniences

1. Running Behind Schedule:

- Hair appointments sometimes run behind the scheduled time. Please be patient; I will send continuous updates regarding any delays.

- If I am running more than 40 minutes behind, I will provide a discount on your service or reschedule your appointment if needed.

2. Finishing Early:

- If I finish a hair appointment earlier than expected, I may update the next client's appointment time.

- In such cases, I will allow the next client to come earlier if it fits their schedule.

- As a licensed cosmetologist, it is my priority to ensure all services enhance the health and condition of your hair.

- Clients must adhere to all consultation and appointment preparation requirements to ensure the best possible service outcome.
